Caring for families.
Family Care Community Partnership, or FCCP, is a comprehensive program of care for families who are at risk for DCYF involvement. Tri-County Community Action Agency has been identified by the RI Department of Children, Youth and Families, as an FCCP Agency capable of providing resources to children and families to help the family create a safe, nurturing environment for the child, and to assist the parents in managing behavioral or emotional troubles that might be an issue with their children.
By involving multiple partnerships throughout Washington and Kent Counties designated to assist families, our team of dedicated care coordinators work with families to create a family-focused action plan. Services vary from single needs, such as energy assistance or parent skills training, to intensive multi-service care plans, addressing a multitude of needs.
Children may be referred from DCYF Child Protective Services if children are at risk for child abuse, neglect or DCYF intervention, children birth to age 18 with serious emotional disturbances, children leaving temporary community placement, children at risk of foster placement, or children at-risk for or already involved with Juvenile Justice. Tri-County does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, handicap (disability), veteran status, pregnancy, marital status, genetic information, medical condition, sexual orientation, limited English proficiency (LEP) or any other status protected by Federal and state law.
