Adult Basic Education Program
The Adult Basic Education program includes academic assessments, classes for GED exam preparation, Adult Basic Education, post secondary educational assistance, and alternative diploma programs. We also provide official Alternative Learning Plans for all high schools in our service delivery area. Services are delivered though classroom based lessons, tutoring, home-based studies, and computer assisted learning.
Teacher’s Assistant Training Program – Now Enrolling!
Tri-County is excited to offer a Teacher’s Assistant Training Program.
Have you always dreamed of a career in education? The Teacher’s Assistant Training Program can give you the experience and training you need to get started. This virtual learning program is available for individuals age 18 or over, with a high school diploma or GED. The learning sessions will run for two weeks.

Financial Literacy Program
The Financial Literacy Program provides financial assessments and financial literacy workshops including budgeting basics, credit repair, and savings/retirement accounts. Eligible clients receive a $50 bonus deposit for opening a first time savings account.
Adult Job Training
Adults age 25 and over who are enrolled in Adult Education or other Agency programs are eligible for job training services at Tri-County. We provide assistance with resume writing, job search, interview skills, and skill upgrades. Additionally, individuals may participate in on-the-job-training (OJT), Basic Skills Training, and Job Placement and Retention.
