Home energy audits, for energy conservation.
The Appliance Management Program, funded by National Grid, provides low income customers with a comprehensive home energy audit designed to identify ways to reduce electricity consumption and associated costs. The audit will include a visit to your home by a trained Energy Manager who will determine the usage of your major appliances, and other electrical devices. Results from the energy audit will be shared with the home owner and the Energy Manager will advise on strategies to reduce energy consumption. The audit may also include the provision of energy saving products including LED light bulbs, Energy Star refrigerators and freezers, Energy Star air conditioners, energy timers, smart power strips, water saving shower heads and faucet aerators. This program is available to National Grid customers in Providence County serving Johnston, Smithfield, North Providence, Burrillville and Glocester and Washington County serving Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, West Greenwich, and Westerly.
